I’m Agnieszka Pniewski, i.e. The Festive Anthropologist
A friend asked how the name The Festive Anthropologist came about. While I studied the topic in college, the one thing I was drawn to was that no matter what- across cultures, people had their own way of celebrating. Celebrations are consistent in practice across cultures- even those that don't have a deity. I like to think of myself as a sniper of joy. Capturing what might not be noticed in the moment, but will help bring you back to a particular time and place, and make you feel.
